About Us
Splendid Wines is a UK Wine Agency founded on the knowledge and expertise of Chris Rogers.
Chris has extensive experience in the wine industry, having worked for some of the UK’s leading wine retailers and wholesalers.
A superb presenter and a winner of multiple industry awards, Chris holds the WSET Diploma (winning the Freixnet DWS Prize in the process) and is an Associate of the Institute of Wine and Spirits, as well as being a registered WSET wine educator and Part Time Lecturer at Swansea University.
In 2015 Chris graduated and won L’Academie de Champagne, the 59th person ever to do so, and is Chevalier l’Ordre de Coteaux de Champagne.
With an enviable palate and an even more enviable list of contacts, Chris has worked for and with many of the UK’s leading wholesalers and retailers and represents a number of overseas brands in the UK, helping our clients gain new accounts and increased brand presence through superb professional representation.
How We Work
We act as the face of your brand in the UK, and whether it’s holding wine tastings for large wholesalers or representing our brands at Corporate UK and international events, we’ll help deliver a fantastic impression.
While we are happy to share our ideas, quite how we represent you is up to you.
From driving round touring UK stores in a branded 2CV (something we did for our client Cattier – and it went down a storm with their wholesale clients!) to travelling overseas to represent you at meetings at short notice, we believe in going the extra mile.
